Shitty First Draft

As Anne Lamott says, you need to give yourself permission to write a ‘shitty first draft’, well that’s exactly what I’m going to do. This first post isn’t going to be perfect, and neither will my second or third post be, but as I progress in the blogging world, my blogging skills will progress also.

For many years I have attempted to keep a journal, writing at least one entry each day, but as many of you would know it is much harder than it looks. Most of my entries summing up my day as this;
‘School today. I had an apple for lunch. Kaitlyn made fun of my apple because it had a bruise. I got mad and told her she was hurting the apple’s feelings. I ate the apple anyway.’

I ended giving up on seven journals in total. I felt since no-one was there to read it there was no real point. So with my seven journal failing me at the start of this year, I’ve decided to give blogging a go !

Unlike a journal where you write about your day and emotions and feelings and all that juicy stuff, on a blog you are able to expand the types of things you write about. In my case, the topics I will blog about are travel, lifestyle, everyday thoughts and the like.

As you can probably tell from my blog name ‘AnonymousBlogger2k15’, I will be remaining anonymous, but you never know, perhaps in a year or so, I may just reveal myself !

And the most important and rewarding factor of creating a blog is being able to communicate with the viewers of my blog and being able to communicate with other intelligent and creative souls.
Looking forward to the journey this blog will bring on in 2k15 !
